| The Burton Rose Cottage is a charming cottage designed for a quiet, private, and elegant retreat. Relaxation comes naturally with beautiful flowering landscape, pecan trees, butterflies and singing birds. It is located in the peaceful picturesque town of Burton. You can enjoy a lovely walk around Burton to Antique Shops, dining and the famous Burton Cotton Gin. If you are lucky you may get a glimpse of Burton’s famous pet peacock named“Burton Ernie”. |
| This spacious well equipped cottage is cozy, peaceful with luxurious comforts and private porch. The cottage has a large bedroom with 2 Queen Size iron beds, that are like falling into heaven, a living room with a flat screen TV and selection of DVD’s, kitchen with microwave, large toaster oven, small refrigerator, coffee pot, coffee, teas, dishes and flatware, and bath with hair dryer and shower. |
| The cottage is beautifully appointed with antique and vintage furnishings, high-cotton count linens. It is easy access to the famous Antique Festival that happens two times yearly. A short drive to Round Top, Texas and Brenham, Texas. The Spring Time is a great time to visit when all the Blue Bonnets and spring flowers are in bloom. |

| Reservations Policies Rates are based on maximum of 4 people. No Children under the age of 12 year old. No Smoking or Pets Check-In 3 pm - 6 pm, Check-Out 11 am. Reservations are confirmed with a 50% deposit. Payment of the balance is due at time of Check-In. Payment maybe made with cash, check or major credit cards. Your reservation is considered confirmed when the deposit is received and the innkeeper provides confirmation by mail or email. Refunds of deposit less a $50.00 processing fee will be given if notice of cancellation is received at least 2 weeks prior to reservation date for weekday or weekend. A 30-day notice is required for special event dates, Antiques Weeks, Cotton Gin Festival or special area events. After the cut-off-date, the total balance of the charges are due. If you are unable to stay with us, we will attempt to rent the house to another party, if successful, we will refund your deposit less the processing fees. At your request, your deposit can be applied to another reservation date within 6 months (except of special events and Antique Weeks). |

| Travel Directions From Houston, Texas – Take Hwy 290W towards Austin. After passing Brenham stay on 290W towards Austin. You will take a right on Hwy 390 (which is at the Citco Station). In Burton you will take a left at the stop sign on to N. Main. It is 912 & 914 N. Main. There are 2 gates, pull into the second one and park in front of the Cottage. The Cottage is in the front of the property. The main house is the one in the back of the property. If you are coming from Austin you will be taking Hwy 290 E and you will turn left onto Hwy 390 and then follow same as above.
